There are so many activities you can do just looking around sunset beach and our surrounding area. If surfing isn’t your only hobby then why not try some of the following:
Go fishing in our marine rich ocean. Large game fish such as trevally and blue marlin are caught regularly here and often available in the local market.
Swimming is ideal just 100m from Saejadi. There is a long stretch of beach with small waves and deep blue tropical waters.
For those who are able there are many wild animals in the nearby forests where you can go hunting.
Paragliding is available when the winds are blowing hard and why not try we surfing in the midday trade wind.
There is also the opportunity to broaden your experience and try learning the local language of bahasa Indonesia with the people who live here. They are polite, friendly and accommodating and the large majority of Krui people are muslims. Mosques dominate the small villages and it is not uncommon to pass through local festivals and celebrating on your wave explorations. As they are friendly and accommodating, you may even find new waves by asking the local people. English is not widely spoken but when you greet them by saying “ASSALAMUALAIKUM….”. The local people absolutely welcome and help you as much as they can! Call them “pak” for a middle age man, “Ibu/bu” for a middle age woman, “Abang/bang” for a young man. You can observe the local way of living and feel free to take a photograph.
There are many more activities you can do here, it’s all back to you, what you want to do and how you want to do it!
